Veneers in Pakistan typically cost between PKR 40,000 and PKR 75,000 per tooth, depending on the material: composite at the lower end, E-max in the middle, and layered porcelain at the top. That per-tooth figure is where most people trip up, because a single veneer and a full ten-tooth smile are very different bills. I'm a prosthodontist. Most of the pricing confusion I see in the chair comes down to one thing patients aren't told upfront: which material they're actually getting, and how long it will really last.
How much do veneers cost in Pakistan?
Price follows material. Composite veneers are the most affordable, ceramic veneers cost more, and the layered porcelain work sits at the top because it's hand-built by a lab technician. At Dental Specialists in DHA Phase 6, Lahore, composite veneers start at PKR 40,000 per tooth, E-max (lithium disilicate) veneers from PKR 60,000, and layered porcelain veneers from PKR 75,000. Here's the per-tooth picture in one place.
| Veneer type | Price (per tooth) | Typical lifespan | Usual visits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Composite veneer | PKR 40,000 | ~5–7 years | Often 1 |
| E-max (lithium disilicate) | from PKR 60,000 | 10–15+ years | 2–3 |
| Layered porcelain veneer | from PKR 75,000 | 10–15+ years | 2–3 |

Two quick points before the material breakdown. Composite bonding, a lighter cosmetic fix for a chipped edge or small gap, runs PKR 14,000 per tooth and isn't the same thing as a full composite veneer. And if you want to see the full comparison of the two ceramic-versus-resin routes, we cover composite versus porcelain veneers in a separate guide.
Composite, E-max, or porcelain: what you're paying for
Here's the myth I correct almost weekly: that composite is just cheaper porcelain. It isn't. Composite is a tooth-coloured resin your dentist builds and sculpts directly onto the tooth, usually in one visit. Porcelain and E-max are made in a lab from ceramic and bonded on later. Different material, different process, different lifespan. That's why the price gap exists, and it's a fair gap.
E-max is the name most patients have heard, often from the "Turkey teeth" videos online. It's a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic: a crystalline structure inside a glass matrix that gives it real strength while still letting light pass through like natural enamel. Layered (feldspathic) porcelain is built up by hand in thin layers, which lets a skilled ceramist chase very natural, custom shading, at a higher lab cost. Both ceramic options are strong and highly stain-resistant. E-max tends to resist chipping a touch better under bite forces.
| Feature | Composite | E-max | Layered porcelain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Made | On the tooth, same day | In a lab | In a lab, by hand |
| Strength | Lower | High | Good |
| Stain resistance | Moderate | Excellent | Excellent |
| Natural look | Good | Very good | Best for custom shading |
| Typical lifespan | ~5–7 years | 10–15+ years | 10–15+ years |
| Repairable in-clinic | Yes | Usually remade | Usually remade |
What does the evidence say about that lifespan column? It's not marketing. A systematic review of 6,500 porcelain laminate veneers reported a ten-year survival rate of around 95%, and a separate meta-analysis found ceramic veneers bonded to healthy enamel survive at roughly 99%. Composite veneers have a shorter track record: most studies put them around five to seven years before they need refreshing or replacing. So the honest read is that porcelain buys you time.
What changes the price of your veneers
So why does one person's quote differ so much from another's? A few things move the number, and it helps to know them before you compare clinics.
- Material. The single biggest driver. Composite, E-max, and layered porcelain sit at different price points for the reasons above.
- Number of teeth. Veneers are priced per tooth. Two front teeth is a small job. A full upper smile of eight to ten teeth is a much bigger one, and it's usually planned as a set so the shades match.
- Prep work before veneers. If your gums need scaling first, or a tooth needs whitening to set the target shade, or the bite needs checking, that adds to the plan. Veneers go on healthy foundations, not over problems.
- Alignment. Veneers can mask minor crookedness. They can't fix a significant bite or crowding problem, and forcing them to try leads to bulky, unnatural results. Some patients are better served by braces or clear aligners first.
- Who's doing the work. An FCPS-qualified prosthodontist and a good lab cost more than a quick job. Cosmetic dentistry is technique-sensitive, and the difference shows at the gumline and in how the veneer catches the light.
A cheaper headline price per tooth isn't automatically a saving. If a composite set needs replacing in six years and a porcelain set is still going at fifteen, the cost per year tells a different story. That's the calculation worth doing.
What's included at our DHA Phase 6 clinic
The part people rarely ask about, and should. At veneers at our DHA Phase 6 clinic, the per-tooth price covers the consultation and smile assessment, tooth preparation, the veneer itself, and the bonding appointment. Before we prepare anything, we set the target shade, because veneers don't change colour once they're on. If you want a brighter base, whitening comes first, not after.
How the veneers are fitted, from the first impression to the final bond, is walked through in our guide on how veneers are fitted, step by step. What sits outside the veneer price is any separate treatment your mouth needs first, such as deep gum cleaning or a filling under a tooth. We tell you that at the consultation, not on the day. Flexible payment options are available on select treatments — discuss with our team at consultation.
One veneer or a full smile makeover? The per-tooth math
Wedding season sends a wave of full-smile requests through the clinic every year, and the question is always the same: is it cheaper to do the whole smile at once? Usually, yes, when a package is involved. The saving comes from planning the case as one unit rather than pricing each tooth in isolation. Here's how the numbers work for a common ten-tooth upper smile in E-max.
| Item | Priced individually |
|---|---|
| 10 E-max veneers (PKR 60,000 each) | PKR 600,000 |
| Teeth whitening (with scaling & polishing) | PKR 30,000 |
| Total if bought separately | PKR 630,000 |
| Smile Makeover Package (10 E-max + whitening) | from PKR 549,000 |
| You save | about PKR 81,000 |
A full a full smile makeover runs over two to three visits across about ten to fifteen days, so it fits inside a normal wedding countdown if you start early. For a smaller occasion, our Wedding Smile Package covers professional teeth whitening plus bonding touch-ups on up to two teeth at PKR 49,000, which suits people who want a fresher smile without the full veneer commitment. Book two to three weeks before the event either way, because rushed cosmetic work is how mistakes happen.
How long do veneers last, and are they worth it?
Value is really a question of years, not the sticker price. Good porcelain and E-max veneers commonly run ten to fifteen years, and plenty last longer with sensible care. Composite is the shorter game at roughly five to seven years, though it's easier and cheaper to touch up along the way. The honest caveat: these are averages from clinical studies, and real lifespan swings a lot with the individual. A patient who grinds their teeth at night or opens bottle caps with their front teeth will not get the same mileage as one who wears a night guard.
One thing worth saying plainly. Traditional veneers are irreversible, because fitting them means shaping away a thin layer of enamel, and enamel doesn't grow back. That isn't a reason to avoid them. It is a reason to be sure before you start, and to choose someone who removes as little tooth as the case allows. In our clinic, the patients who arrive worried about "grinding the teeth down" are usually relieved to learn how little we actually take, often under half a millimetre.
Are they worth it? For discoloured, chipped, worn, or slightly gappy front teeth, veneers give a durable, natural result that whitening alone can't. For teeth that are otherwise healthy and just a shade off, sometimes whitening is enough and cheaper. A good dentist will tell you when that's the case rather than upsell you.
The honest bottom line on veneer pricing
Budget per tooth, then multiply by the number of teeth that show when you smile, and ask which material the quote is for before you compare anything. Composite saves money today. Porcelain and E-max cost more today and usually cost less per year over their life. The right answer is the one that fits your teeth and your timeline, decided after someone actually looks in your mouth.
Frequently asked questions
How much do veneers cost per tooth in Pakistan?
Per tooth, veneers in Pakistan generally run PKR 40,000 for composite, from PKR 60,000 for E-max, and from PKR 75,000 for layered porcelain. Your total depends on how many teeth you treat and whether whitening or gum work is needed first. A full quote follows an examination.
Is composite or porcelain cheaper?
Composite is cheaper up front, at PKR 40,000 per tooth versus PKR 60,000 and up for porcelain. But composite typically lasts five to seven years, while porcelain lasts ten to fifteen or more. Over time, the porcelain option can work out similar or better on cost per year.
How many veneers do I need for a full smile?
Most people show six to ten teeth when they smile, so a full upper smile usually needs eight to ten veneers. Some patients only want their two front teeth matched to the rest. A dentist settles the number after seeing your smile line and what bothers you.
Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?
No, but traditional veneers are irreversible, because a thin layer of enamel is shaped to fit them. That enamel does not grow back, so the tooth will always need a veneer or crown over it. Minimal-prep and composite options remove less. A dentist can advise which suits you.
How long do veneers last in Pakistan?
Well-made porcelain and E-max veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years, and often longer with good care. Composite veneers usually last around five to seven years. Grinding your teeth, biting hard objects, and poor cleaning all shorten that. A night guard helps if you clench.
Is a smile makeover cheaper than buying veneers one by one?
Often, yes. Ten E-max veneers plus whitening priced individually come to about PKR 630,000 at our clinic. Our Smile Makeover Package bundles the same treatment from PKR 549,000, saving around PKR 81,000. The saving comes from planning the full case together rather than tooth by tooth.
