Smile Makeover Cost in Lahore: What's Included and What It Really Costs

Why "smile makeover" doesn't mean one price, what actually sits inside the number, and the honest 10-unit math behind a full smile in 2026.

Before and after smile makeover result at a dental clinic in Lahore, illustrating smile makeover cost

A full smile makeover in Lahore starts from around PKR 500,000 at Dental Specialists in DHA Phase 6 for a typical ten-unit case combining crowns and veneers, or from PKR 549,000 as a packaged set of 10 E-max veneers with whitening. That's a wide door to walk through, and the reason is simple: "smile makeover" isn't a procedure, it's a plan. Two people can both want one and need completely different work. So before we get to numbers, the useful question is what you're actually buying.

What's actually included

Here's where most price guides go quiet, so this is the part to read slowly.

A smile makeover is a coordinated set of treatments chosen for your face and your teeth. It nearly always starts with an examination, photographs, and a smile design, the planning stage where the shape, length and colour of the new teeth are worked out against your lip line before anything is prepared. From there, the plan draws on whatever the case needs: veneers for the visible front teeth, crowns where a tooth is too broken down for a veneer, whitening to set the base shade, composite bonding for small corrections, and gum contouring where the gum line is uneven or shows too much.

One rule sits above all of this, and a good clinic won't bend it: your mouth has to be healthy first. Active gum disease or untreated decay has to be dealt with before cosmetic work begins, because bonding beautiful veneers onto inflamed gums is building on sand, and the restorations fail early. If you need braces to move teeth into position, that happens before the veneers, not instead of them. That sequencing is exactly why a makeover can't be honestly priced from a photo.

The 10-unit math, shown honestly

People ask why the total is what it is, so let's build one. A common full smile is ten upper teeth, the ones on show from first premolar to first premolar.

Ten E-max veneers at PKR 60,000 each comes to PKR 600,000 for the veneers alone. Add whitening of the lower teeth to match, at PKR 30,000, and priced item by item you're at roughly PKR 630,000. The Smile Makeover Package bundles those same ten E-max veneers with whitening from PKR 549,000, which is where the saving of about PKR 81,000 comes from. Choose layered porcelain at PKR 75,000 a tooth instead and ten units is PKR 750,000 before anything else. Go the other way with composite veneers at PKR 40,000, and ten is PKR 400,000, though composite is a different material with a different lifespan, which I'll come back to.

Not everyone needs ten. If only your top six teeth show when you smile, that's the number that matters, and six E-max veneers is PKR 360,000. The count follows your face. Anyone quoting a flat "Hollywood smile" price without looking at your lip line is guessing. For the full per-tooth breakdown across materials, we've laid it out in veneers price in Pakistan.

What drives the price up or down

Four things move the number, roughly in order of impact.

  • How many teeth. The biggest single lever. Six versus ten versus a full upper-and-lower reconstruction are different projects.
  • The material. Composite is the entry point. E-max is the workhorse of natural-looking cosmetic cases. Layered porcelain sits at the top for translucency. Each is a real step in both look and price.
  • Preparatory work. A mouth that needs gum treatment, a few fillings, or braces first carries those costs before the cosmetic stage. This is genuinely case-by-case and it's the part a photo can't reveal.
  • Who plans and places it. Smile design led by a prosthodontist, proper temporaries, and a try-in stage take time and skill. That's what separates a result that looks like teeth from one that looks like a row of tiles.

What doesn't move the price honestly: urgency. A wedding in three weeks doesn't change what the work costs, though it does change what's realistic in the time, which matters more than the money.

The package vs paying per tooth

Our Smile Makeover Package exists because the most common case, ten E-max veneers with whitening, is predictable enough to price as a set, and bundling it saves you around PKR 81,000 against the item-by-item total. It runs over 10 to 15 days and two to three visits.

Packages fit standard cases. They don't fit a mouth that needs a crown on a broken molar, gum surgery, or orthodontics first, and forcing a complex case into a package price helps nobody. For those, we quote per tooth after an examination, off the same published list above, so you can see exactly where every rupee goes. There's also a smaller option for a specific moment: the Wedding Smile Package at PKR 49,000 flat, which is whitening plus bonding touch-ups on up to two teeth, built for someone who wants a lift before an event rather than a full makeover. Book that two to three weeks before the day. Flexible payment options are available on select treatments, and our team can walk you through them at consultation.

Is it worth it? What the evidence says

For the money involved, this is a fair question, and the honest answer has two halves.

On durability, the research is reassuring. Pooled data on ceramic veneers puts ten-year survival around 95 to 97 percent for lithium disilicate and layered porcelain, and a large review of porcelain laminate veneers reported a ten-year cumulative survival of about 95.5 percent. These are well-studied restorations with a long track record, not a fad. Composite veneers are the exception worth naming: they cost less and can look excellent, but they stain over time and don't last as long, so on a full makeover meant to hold for a decade they're a compromise rather than a saving.

The half nobody advertises: veneers involve removing a thin layer of enamel, less than a crown but not nothing, and that step can't be undone. A well-planned makeover is designed to be as conservative as the result allows, and for minor changes bonding or whitening alone may get you most of the way with far less removed. That's a conversation to have honestly before any tooth is touched, not after. We go deeper into that trade-off in our comparison of composite vs porcelain veneers and the step-by-step in getting veneers: the process explained. And if grinding is part of your picture, a night guard protects the investment, since heavy bite forces are one of the main reasons veneers chip early.

Where to start

Not with a price, and not with a shade guide. Start with an examination and a smile design, because the number only becomes real once someone has looked at your teeth, your gums, and the way your lip sits when you smile. From there the plan and the cost are built together off the published list, and you'll know the total before a single tooth is prepared. A makeover you can see coming is a makeover you won't regret paying for. You can read how the treatment itself works on our smile makeover page, then send us a photo to begin.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a smile makeover cost in Lahore?

At Dental Specialists in DHA Phase 6, Lahore, a full smile makeover of about 10 units combining crowns and veneers starts from PKR 500,000. A packaged option of 10 E-max veneers with whitening starts from PKR 549,000. The final figure depends on how many teeth are treated and which materials are used.

What does a smile makeover actually include?

A smile makeover is a planned combination of treatments, not one procedure. Depending on your case it can include veneers, crowns, teeth whitening, composite bonding, gum contouring, and sometimes orthodontics beforehand. It always starts with an examination and smile design, and any gum disease or decay must be treated first.

How many veneers do you need for a smile makeover?

Most people treat the upper six to ten teeth that show when they smile and speak. Six covers the front incisors and canines; ten extends to the first premolars. Your dentist decides based on your lip line and how wide your smile is, so the count follows your face, not a fixed rule.

Is a packaged smile makeover cheaper than paying per tooth?

It can be. Our Smile Makeover Package of 10 E-max veneers with whitening starts from PKR 549,000, against roughly PKR 630,000 for the same items priced individually, a saving of about PKR 81,000. Packages suit standard cases; complex ones are still quoted per tooth after examination.

How long do smile makeover veneers last?

Well-made porcelain and E-max veneers have strong longevity in the research, with pooled 10-year survival around 95 to 97 percent. Real-world lifespan depends on your bite, hygiene, and whether you grind. A night guard for grinders and good daily cleaning are the two biggest levers on how long they last.

Does a smile makeover damage your natural teeth?

Veneers need a thin layer of enamel removed, less than a crown but not nothing, and that step is not reversible. Composite bonding removes little to none. A good makeover is planned to be as conservative as the result allows, which is one reason the design and material choice matter before any tooth is touched.
