Honest Trip Planning

How long should you actually plan for?

Different treatments need genuinely different amounts of time. These are our honest recommendations — not the minimum we could get away with claiming.

TreatmentRecommended trip lengthWhy
Smile makeover / veneers10–15 daysConsultation, whitening, preparation, try-in, and final placement all fit comfortably
Dental implants (single or few teeth)15–18 daysCovers consultation, placement, and — where immediate-load suits your case — the restoration; conventional healing needs a second trip
Crowns, bridges, root canal treatment7–12 daysTypically two visits a few days apart for lab-made work
Full mouth rehabilitationtwo trips: ~3 weeks + ~2 weeksThe 4–6 month healing period between surgery and final prosthesis genuinely cannot be compressed — see our full mouth rehabilitation page

These are realistic planning ranges, not guarantees — your dentist confirms exact timing after reviewing your case. Prices and timelines current as of July 2026 and may change; your written quote is confirmed after examination.

Logistics

Deposits, accommodation, and the practical details.

Deposit

We require a deposit of at least 50% of the agreed treatment cost before your procedure begins. This is arranged once you've arrived, been examined in person, and confirmed your treatment plan — not before you fly.

  • Secures your appointment slots and lab work
  • Confirmed after your treatment plan is finalised in-clinic
  • The balance is settled as your treatment progresses, per your written plan

Where to Stay

By default, we recommend nearby stays close to our DHA Phase 6 clinic, and you arrange your own accommodation and transport — the way most patients prefer, and the most cost-effective option.

  • We'll suggest well-located areas near the clinic on request
  • Want everything arranged for you — hotel, transport, more? Tell us in advance and we'll arrange and price it individually
  • English-speaking team throughout your visit, whichever route you choose
Our Honest Policy

Some treatments don't fit one trip — and we'll tell you that before you book flights.

Conventional dental implants need 4 to 6 months for the bone to properly fuse around them before the final crown can go on safely. That biology doesn't change because someone flew a long way to be here. For single-tooth or few-tooth implant cases, immediate-load techniques can sometimes complete everything in one 15 to 18 day visit — but only when your case genuinely qualifies, which we assess honestly from your X-rays before you travel, not after you've landed. Full mouth rehabilitation, by its nature, always needs two trips.

We would rather lose a booking than have you fly across the world expecting a result our own biology can't deliver on that timeline. If your case needs two trips, we'll say so in the very first WhatsApp reply — and help you plan around it, including combining the wait with a home visit if that fits your life better.

Aftercare

What happens once you're back home?

Minor Adjustments

A filling that feels slightly high, a bite that needs a small tweak — these are usually simple enough for a local dentist near you to sort out. We're glad to advise your local dentist directly by phone or email if that helps.

  • We provide clear written notes on the work completed for your local dentist
  • Happy to consult with them directly on request
  • Most cosmetic and restorative work needs no adjustment at all

Something More Significant

If a genuine problem arises with completed work, we discuss the right path honestly — whether that's guidance for a local dentist, or planning a follow-up visit if the issue needs our direct attention.

  • Our warranty on workmanship and materials still applies — see individual treatment pages for details
  • We'd rather have an honest conversation than an unrealistic promise
  • WhatsApp stays open to you long after your visit ends
Visiting Family in Lahore?

For overseas Pakistanis, dental care often fits naturally into the trip home.

If you're already coming back for a wedding, Eid, or just to see family, that's the ideal window to handle dental work you've been postponing abroad — often at a fraction of the cost, with a team that speaks your language literally and culturally. Many of our overseas patients start with our Homecoming Dental Check — a full examination, X-rays, and cleaning for Rs 15,000 flat — early in their trip, so anything else needed can be planned around family time rather than squeezed in at the last minute.

Whether it's a smile makeover before a family wedding, implants you've been putting off, or simply a proper check-up you haven't had time for abroad, message us your travel dates on WhatsApp and we'll build a schedule around your visit, not the other way round.

FAQs

Common questions from international patients.

How do I start dental treatment in Pakistan from abroad?

Send photos, X-rays if you have them, and a description of what you need on WhatsApp to +92 331 0400978. One of our dentists reviews your case and replies with an honest assessment, a realistic treatment plan, a written quote in USD, and a recommended trip length — all before you book anything.

How long of a trip do I need for dental treatment in Lahore?

It depends on the treatment. A smile makeover or veneer case needs 10 to 15 days. A dental implant case needs 15 to 18 days if immediate-load is suitable, though conventional implants need a second trip after healing. Full mouth rehabilitation genuinely needs two separate trips.

Is a deposit required before I fly to Pakistan?

Yes. We require a deposit of at least 50% of the agreed treatment cost before the procedure begins, once you have arrived and your treatment plan is confirmed in person. This secures your appointment slots and the lab work your case needs.

Do you arrange accommodation and airport pickup?

By default, we recommend nearby stays and you arrange your own accommodation and transport. If you would prefer us to arrange accommodation, transport, or any other logistics on your behalf, tell us in advance and we will arrange and price it for you individually.

Can dental implants be completed in one trip?

Sometimes, and sometimes not, depending on your case. Immediate-load implants in suitable cases can be completed in a single 15 to 18 day visit. Conventional implants need 4 to 6 months of healing before the final crown, which genuinely requires two trips. We assess this honestly before you travel.

What happens if I need an adjustment after I go home?

Minor adjustments to fillings, bite, or fit are usually simple enough for a local dentist near you to handle, and we are happy to advise them by phone or email if needed. For anything more significant, we discuss the right path with you honestly, including whether a follow-up visit makes sense.

Is Pakistan safe and reliable for dental treatment?

Our clinic follows standard sterilisation and safety protocols, and our dentists are PMDC-registered with real, verifiable qualifications. As with any destination, quality varies between clinics, so we encourage you to verify credentials and ask questions before committing anywhere, including with us.

Do overseas Pakistanis get different treatment logistics than other international patients?

The clinical process is the same for everyone. What differs is often the schedule: many overseas Pakistanis combine dental treatment with a family visit, so we help plan appointments around family time, and our Homecoming Dental Check package is built specifically for that pattern.
